Kick-off event 'CleanTech Challenge 2011, will you make the difference?'

National business plan competition

Stimulating entrepreneurship of students is very important. Therefore we would like to present the CleanTech Challenge 2011, organized by Academics For Companies and Vlerick Management School.

This national business plan competition aims solely on the clean tech domain, being ideas which have a positive impact on the environment. An interesting aspect of this competition is that teams are expected to be multidisciplinary, so economical and technical skills, but also a combination of masters, PhD's and MBA's.

The first deadline for a 200 word idea formulation is the 4th of March. But on the 24th of February a kick-off event is organized at the Kinepolis in Leuven. This is a free networking event open for all interested students. The goal is that students with an idea can meet and form teams with other students. There will also be business experts, venture capital, business angels and coaches walking around. This is truly a unique and relevant networking event.

The 2 winners of this national competition will receive a direct seat in the European finale in London organized by the London Business School. Transportation and hotel will be paid for you. There is also a 5000 euro cash price.

- Register as 'Attending' for the kick-off event, and show up on the 24th February at 18h30.
