Leuven MindGate Events Workshop 'Powerful conversation techniques'

In our work environment, it is not always easy to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers. We often encounter difficulties in illustrating our point of view in an efficiently and objective manner, especially when the stakes are high, opinions vary and emotions run strong. Ineffective conversations can lead to frustration and anger within the team or company and will eventually lead to delay in work and projects.

This workshop will give you the tools to prepare for crucial conversations and ensure that your point comes across in a non-violent manner. By attending this workshop, you will learn how to transform your frustrations into a powerful dialogue and create an environment where everything is negotiable. This session will also offer you the necessary conversation techniques needed in order to create alignment and agreement by fostering open dialogue with team members and stakeholders.

After this workshop you will be able to:

use your body language convincingly and powerful
communicate in a disciplined manner
formulate feedback in a clear, specific and transparent way
be constructive in your dialogue, even during challenging conversations
handle disagreement with a positive state of mind

These skills will allow you to navigate high-stakes conversations, thereby diminishing the possibility of delay in your business processes.

Target group

The workshop is open to all profiles interested in improving their conversation skills, with a focus on technical profiles.

Facilitator

This one day workshop is developed and facilitated by Ivie Cardinaels, trainer and owner of Visionata.

Note: To facilitate the interactivity during this session, the number of participants will be limited.

After registration you will receive a confirmation and route description. The registration fee is payable after receipt of invoice. Cancellation after subscription is not possible. However, replacement by a colleague is allowed.
