Leuven.Inc workshop 'Collaborating with teams and individuals as a Project Manager'

One of the major challenges for a Project Manager is collaborating with ever changing teams, and knowing how to get results fast and effectively. Teams in general, and certainly project teams will evolve with growing expertise, processes, interactions and experiences. And the success of such teams depends for a large part on the strengths of individuals, the structure of the team, and the efficiency of the processes.

The better a PM knows the preferences and styles of his/her team members, the better the talents can be employed and the collaboration will be effective. Through careful analysis, human behavior can be subdivided into one of four quadrants. Each quadrant will reflect the styles and preferences of the people in that group. This will help the Project Manager to create a healthy team.

In this workshop, we’ll look at ways to make teams more effective and to promote interaction to reach a common goal and be successful.

After this workshop, you’ll be able to

• Recognize your own preferential style and know how you react under stress
• Align your style with the behavior of your team members
• The attitudes and behavior of others, and better predict the results of your project
• Understand the values of teams and team interaction
• Develop a uniform team vision
• Create a supportive team environment
• Apply principles to enable effective team collaboration

Target audience

• This workshop is meant for (beginning) project managers and people who regularly coordinate projects, and who wish to optimize the team interaction.
• The workshop will be especially useful for participants who already followed the Leuven.Inc workshop 'Successful Project management', and who want to learn more about team functioning and people management.

Facilitator

This one-day workshop is facilitated by José Hendrikx, founder of Straight Business Partners. She is also the trainer of the Leuven.Inc workshop 'Successful Project management'.

After registration you will receive a confirmation and route description. The registration fee is payable after receipt of invoice. Cancellation after subscription is not possible. However, replacement by a colleague is allowed.*
