Top Talk: Breaking boundaries by professor Peter Carmeliet

Professor Peter Carmeliet will take his audience on an exploration of the world of blood vessels. He will also express his fascination with Vesalius, the world-renowned anatomist who mapped the human body through cadaveric dissections –unprecedented in his time. In presenting the life and boundary-breaking scientific work of Vesalius, professor Carmeliet will draw upon striking parallels with the essence of current scientific research. Only this way solutions can be found for today's diseases.
