Lecture: 'The golden opportunities of ICT-services in today's society'

Lecture by prof. H.J. Frömm, Director of the Karlsruhe Service Research Institute (University of Karlsruhe)
How large enterprises have had to re-position over the past 100 years from technology excellence to services, and why a strong platform of education and research is needed to prepare our students and entrepreneurs for the future.

Debate
The presentation will be followed by a lively debate with H.J. Frömm, K.U.Leuven professors from engineering, economics and humanities, and the audience on the topic ‘ICT for you and me: ICT is no longer a domain for technologists alone; from field worker to manager, anyone has to deal with the opportunities and difficulties’.

Questions or discussion points can be sent upon registration, before November 16.

The evening will be closed by a reception offered by IBM at 7 PM.
