After its recent capital raise, QAELUM NV – the Belgium-based international specialist in medical quality monitoring and analysis – is strengthening its corporate structure. QAELUM’s close collaboration with the University Hospitals Leuven, from which QAELUM originates, is now reflected in the assignment of prof. dr. Frank Rademakers as a new member of the Board of Directors. He is the former head physician and current director “Medical Technology & Innovation” at the University Hospitals Leuven. In addition, Luc Colle, former VP global sales at Barco, will lead QAELUM’s new global sales team. With these key assignments, QAELUM enters a new phase in its global expansion.
Professor Rademakers enters the board of directors
To strengthen the collaboration with the University Hospitals in Leuven, prof. dr. Frank Rademakers will join the Board of Directors of QAELUM NV, the Belgian leader in medical imaging quality management solutions. Prof. dr. Rademakers, former head physician at the University Hospitals Leuven, combines extensive (inter)national experience in cardiac imaging with a strong focus on patient safety and quality. As director Medical Technology & Innovation at the University Hospitals, professor Rademakers prioritizes collaboration, complementarity, the integration of different diagnostic activities and technological innovation.
