EpiGaN Announces Appointment of Claus Geisler as Chairman of the Board of Directors

Hasselt, Belgium, March 6th, 2014.

EpiGaN, a leading provider of III-nitride epitaxial material solutions, today announced the appointment of Claus Geisler as Chairman of the Board of Directors effective March 1st, 2014. Mr. Geisler brings extensive expertise in the semiconductor industry, executive management and the investment community to EpiGaN.

Mr. Geisler has more than 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. After several management positions in the semiconductor industry, he worked the last 18 years at Siemens/Infineon in Munich. At Siemens/Infineon, most of his time was dedicated to the power semiconductor business, in which Infineon is the market leader. Mr. Geisler retired as a Sr. Vice President at Infineon and as a board member of the automotive division. He holds a degree of electrical engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld.
