LayerWise successful in EY Most Promising Company of the Year and Deloitte Technology Fast50

LayerWise was selected as one of the five finalists for ‘The award of the Flemish Government for the Most Promising Company 2013’, together with Ballon Media, Biocartis, Medec and Zappware. The jury, led by Geert Noels, Head Economist and Partner of Econopolis, opinionated that LayerWise performs excellently on entrepreneurship, innovation, strategy, persistence, foreign expansion and responsible management. Peter Mercelis: “Our qualitative and accurate 3D printing technology available for a growing number of metal alloys, convinces leading manufacturing companies to work with LayerWise. Today 90 percent of our turnover originates from serial production – for series up to 50,000 parts annually.”

Second-ranked Belgian growth company in Deloitte Technology Fast50

On the gala dinner, organised at the occasion of the ‘2013 Deloitte Technology Fast50 Award’ ceremony in Eindhoven, LayerWise came in at position eight. In this ranking of fast-growing technology firms in the Benelux region, LayerWise was the second highest ranked Belgian nominee. Jonas Van Vaerenbergh: “LayerWise’s high Fast50 ranking results from the 2856 percent turnover increase we realised over the past five years. We serve industrial, medical and dental markets worldwide, and regularly sign bigger and longer-term contracts. At the same time, we extend our production capacity with more accurate and productive 3D printing machines developed internally.”
