Siemens and LMS join forces


Siemens to acquire the leading provider of Test and Mechatronic simulation for 680 M euro.
LMS becomes the Business Segment for Test and Simulation within Siemens PLM.

LMS is the leading partner in Test and Mechatronic Simulation in the automotive, aerospace and other advanced manufacturing industries. The transaction which is subject to approval by regulatory authorities is based on an LMS enterprise value accounting to 680 million euro. LMS is the global partner for more than 5000 industry leading companies. LMS is the only provider in the world that offers complete platforms for physical Testing and Mechatronic Simulation, including model-based systems engineering.

Siemens PLM will leverage the strong LMS brand name which will be continued as it appeals to customers because of the LMS’ engineering excellence.”
