Capricorn Cleantech Fund receives award for “The Cleantech Fund of the Year”

London, UK: 28 September 2012 – The Capricorn Cleantech Fund received the award for “The Cleantech Fund of the Year” at the 10th edition of the Investor AllStars Awards in London organized by GP Bullhound.

The jury praised the Capricorn team for its efforts to create value for the investors in the fund and more specifically for its critical contributions in the fundraising process of its portfolio companies in challenging market circumstances. Capricorn recently was in the news as the driving force behind FRX Polymers who celebrated the ground-breaking ceremony for their new plant in Antwerp (Belgium) in the presence of Flemish minister-president Peeters, US ambassador Gutman, governor Berx and mayor Janssens of Antwerp.

Jos Peeters, founder and managing director of Capricorn, dedicated the award to the commitment and the hard work of the entire Capricorn team. The fact that the jury was mainly made up of venture capital professionals confirms the outstanding reputation of Capricorn in the venture capital community.
